CinCin is the musical marriage between vocalist/violinist Melissa Cox and pianist Didi Mudigdo that began in Sydney with a spontaneous performance at a friend's wedding in 1998. In 2006, Melissa Cox brought CinCin to Paris while Didi Mudigdo stayed in Sydney to continue the Sydney chapter of CinCin with clarinetist/vocalist Susan Stellino.
Susan Stellino has collaborated with Didi Mudigdo across a range of projects since 1994, and is a popular artist for both private parties and functions. The warmth and charm of both Susan's vocal, and her clarinet performances, earns her a unique position as one of Sydney's most endearing and satisfying jazz performers. Susan performs regularly with trumpeter Valda Marshall and her band at the Hero of Waterloo Hotel in The Rocks Sydney and at the Manhattan Lounge in Martin Place Sydney.
Melissa Cox represents a unique combination of musical skills that has earned her accolades both in Australia and overseas. One of the few violinists to embrace jazz convincingly, her flair on her instrument is complemented by a smooth vocal style that endows her performances with warmth. In 2003, Melissa was resident artist at the Tokyo Hilton, and she has performed, recorded and toured with international artists such as Jenny Morris (NZ) and Afro Moses O'Jah (Ghana). Currently, Melissa Cox is resident artist at the prestigious Sydney Four Seasons Hotel.
Didi Mudigdo is the quintessential singer's pianist, with a sensitivity in accompaniment that attests to his first jazz piano influence, Nat King Cole. Much in demand among Sydney's jazz vocalists, he has performed with the likes of Leonie Page and Catherine Hunter, as well as a host of many other US, European, African, Asian and Australian artists. His playing is moreover imbued with a humour and playfulness that makes each performance a delight to audiences. Didi has performed on the international circuit in Australia, New Zealand, China, Thailand and Indonesia.
